No over kill, just the the facts that without repentance there would be no Christ likeness in any one, who can be justied by there own doings or by the works of the law Gal 3:11 ? With out the reveleation all would have to say that this was and overstatement by the Son of God, John 6:53 Verily verily, I say unto to you , except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood. you have no life in you.
