Thanks for checking out my blog. Let me tell you a little bit about my background. I grew up Kalamazoo/Portage, Michigan. My parents divorced when I was five, I did not grow up going to church, and by the time I came to college I was a spiritual skeptic. I often argued and debated campus pastors in college telling them why the Bible is full of errors and why all Chrisitans were nothing but hypocrites.
I spent part of my college experience in London, England studying philosophy, and it was there that God changed my life in Christ and placed me on a new path of living.
Today, I am an ordinary guy trying to serve an extraordinay God. I am humbled to be in Christ and still cannot believe I am living this life. It is hard to live for Christ, but there is no greater life to live.
I am a University of Michigan fan (where I graduated), I have inherited the curse of being a Detroit Lions fan (something I am trying to reverse with my son), and I love to play just about all sports. My favorite hobby is hanging out with my family. I have a beautiful wife and four unbelievable kids.
I serve in a church where people actually want to be the church with genuineness and authenticity. It is a revolutionary concept. I am a living example of God’s power of grace in a person’s life.
